The monitor is only two months old. I bought it on 2/9/12. It works great, as you can see by the pictures below. The 6' VGA Cable is still in the bag because I already had my own. The owner's manual is a CD kit and its also still in the plastic wrapping. This is a 20 inch flat-panel LCD computer monitor with 1600 x 900 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The neck of the monitor has a tilt mechanism so that you can angle the screen to your specifications. I used the monitor as an extension for an HP Mini Notebook and it worked great. My eyes give me trouble with most monitors (I'm a graduate student so I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen), but this monitor didn't give me any eye strain, and I used it as I wrote my 100 + page thesis this semester.
